The Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA) is Malta’s national independent authority responsible for safeguarding the quality and recognition of further and higher education. Established under the Education Act, MFHEA works to ensure that education provision in Malta meets national priorities and European standards. MFHEA is the competent authority for licensing, accreditation, quality assurance and the recognition of qualifications. Through research, policy support and collaboration with stakeholders, we promote transparency, continuous improvement and confidence in Malta’s education system.
