Validation of Non-Formal and Informal Learning (VNFIL)

The Validation of Non-Formal and Informal Learning (VNFIL) is a process through which individuals can have the knowledge, skills, and experience they have gained outside formal education formally recognised.

Approved Validation Assessment Centres assess and certify experience in roles that align with the National Occupational Standards listed on the Malta Qualifications Database.

VNFIL assessments are currently available in a variety of sectors, and the process provides a valuable opportunity for lifelong learning to be acknowledged and accredited.
